Step 1: Install MetaMAsk Wallet

The first step is to install Metamask on your phone in case you are using your smartphone to transfer Avax.

If you are on a PC, then you can download the Metamask extension.

Once you have installed the extension, open it and create a new wallet or import an existing one by 

Step 2: Add Avalanche Network to MetaMask

Before you can receive and see your AVax on Metamask, the first step is,  to add the Avalanche network to it.

To add the Avalanche network to MetaMask, 

  • Click Add Network in your MetaMask.
  • Copy-paste the below Avalanche network details 

Avalanche Network Details

Network Name: Avalanche Network

New RPC URL: https://api.avax.network/ext/bc/C/rpc

ChainID: 43114

Symbol: AVAX

Explorer: https://snowtrace.io/

Step 3: Copy the MetaMask Address

Once you have successfully added the Avalanche to your MetaMAsk, the next step is to copy the Avax address in your MetaMAsk.

You can find this above your Avax balance in MetaMask.

Step 4: Click On Send In Coinbase

The next step is to go to your Coinbase account and click on ‘send’.

It will open a new window.

Step 5: Paste The MetaMAsk Address

Now in the address field, paste the address of the Avax that you copied from the MetaMAsk earlier.

Enter the amount of Avax or its equal in US dollars.

Then click on continue.

Now coinbase will ask you to preview send and complete the transaction.

Coinbase will also show you the fees for the transaction.

Click on ‘send now’ and you are done.

Step 6:Confirm The Transaction

Now go to your MetaMask wallet and check the balance there. 

This may take a few minutes, so you do not have a worry.

Your Avaxwill arrives in a few minutes.
