MetaMask and Phantom both are crypto wallets that users can use to store, send, and receive cryptocurrencies and coins.
However, the difference is:
- Metamask runs on the Ethereum blockchain (stores ethereum tokens)
- Phantom runs on the Solana blockchain (stores Solana tokens)
That is why it is not possible to directly send crypto coins, and tokens from metamask to phantom or the opposite way.
So what is the solution for users to send from Phantom to Metamask?
Well, it is not something complicated, but surely it will take some time and a little more effort than what it would have taken if this was possible.

- Transfer it from Phantom to Metamask

How To Send Crypto From Phantom To Metamask Wallet?
To send it securely and without losing your assets, follow the steps below.
Step 1- Connect Phantom wallet with Raydium
The first step is to connect your Phantom wallet with Raydium to swap your token. Go to the official website of raydium and click on connect wallet.
Raydium supports multiple Solana wallets such as Phantom, Solflare, sollet, and more.
Once you have clicked on ‘connect wallet’, a new window will pen showing up the installed and uninstalled wallets that raydium supports.
Click on Phantom to connect it.
Congratulations! You have connected your Phantom Wallet successfully.
Step 2- Swap Token With Other Ethereum-Based Tokens
Click on the ‘Swap’ button in the top left corner which will redirect you to the swapping window.
Swap your Solana blockchain tokens with other ethereum based tokens.
Once you click on ‘swap’, raydium will ask you to approve your transaction.
After approving your tokens, they will show in your phantom wallet.
Step 3- Log In To Binance Account
Now log in to your Binance account and go click on {Wallet}. Click on ‘Fiat and Spot’ under the wallet tab to see all your balances.
You will see all the cryptocurrencies along with a few options on the front of each coin.
Find the coin that you want to send from Phantom to Binance. For example, I want to send USDT.
So I will find USDT and click on the ‘Deposit’ option in front of USDT coins.
A new window will open up for depositing the currency. The coin will be automatically selected, however, you need to select the SOL network on the network option.
A new address will be generated that you need to copy so you will be able to send tokens based on the Solana blockchain to Binance.
Step 4- Send Crypto To Binance From Phantom
Now go to the Phantom wallet{browesr extension or mobile app]. You will find all your coins on the main page of the wallet eg [USDT, BTC]. Select the coin that you want to transfer from phantom to metamask via Binance.
The phantom wallet will bring you options including ‘send’. Click on it and enter the address that you copied from the Binance exchange.
Now enter the amount of crypto you want to transfer and click on ‘next’ and then ‘send’ to proceed with the transfer to Binance.
Step 5- Withdraw The Coin From Binance To Metamask
Firstly, check that the crypto has arrived at your Binance wallet successfully. If yes, then click on [wallet], [fiat, and spot] to show up your balance. Finally, click on withdraw next to the coin you received at Binance
The withdraw page will open and ask you for an address. This is where your funds will be transferred. In this case, we will enter our metamask address only.
Step 6- Copy The MetaMask Address From MetaMask Browser Extension
Click on the metamask icon, and the on the account. The address will automatically be copied. Paste it in the address field in Binance, select the network Binance Smart Chain, enter the amount and click on withdraw to proceed.
