What Is Binance Smart Chain?
Binance Smart Chain is a blockchain developed and launched by Binance in April 2019. BSC runs in parallel to the BNB Beacon Chain.
The network is designed to provide a high-performance platform for decentralized trading and building dApps.
How To Add Binance Smart Chain To Metamask?
To add the Binance Smart Chain network to the Metamask wallet, you need to add information such as custom RPC URLs, chain IDs, and network names.
It requires only two minutes to complete this process and add the BSC network to the little fox (MEtamask) wallet.
Let’s get started.
Step 1- Open Metamask Wallet
Open and log in to Metamask wallet in your browser or on the mobile app.
Then click on the account option, which is a circle icon, and go to ‘settings.’
Step 2- Select Networks
After clicking on the settings, select ‘networks.’
Step 3- Click On ‘Add Network’
Next, click on the ‘add network’ button that is shown on the button.
Step 4- Add Information of Binance Smart Chain Network
Once you have clicked on the ‘add network’ option, you will be taken to a new window where you will need to put the following information:
Network Name: Smart Chain
New RPC URL: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/
Chain ID:56
Currency symbol: BNB
Block Explorer URLs: https://bscscan.com/
You are successfully connected to the Binance Smart Chain network.
Step 4- Confirm Binance Smart Chain On Metamask
You will see a message from Metamask at the bottom such as:
‘Binance Smart Chain network was successfully added’.’
Along with that, you will see the Matic token standard that shows that you have successfully added the Binance Smart Chain to Metamask.
